How pokeplus works

pokeplus is a members club for Pokémon card collectors. You can track your collection and watch card prices, and paid members are entered into draws for graded cards and sealed product. This page explains where everything is and how to enter.

A tour of the members dashboard, just under two minutes. Everything in it is also written out below.

The short version

  1. Create an account and confirm your email with the 6-digit code.
  2. Choose a membership, or buy a one-off pack of Poké Balls. Poké Balls are your entries.
  3. Membership Poké Balls are entered into the monthly draw for you. Pack Poké Balls you place yourself on the Giveaways page.
  4. Results are published within 7 days of each draw. If you win, we email you.

Finding your way around

Once you are signed in, the main menu has six pages.

Your Account page is behind your avatar in the top corner. It holds your membership and billing, your date of birth and state, your notification settings and, if you win, your prize details.

Memberships and Poké Balls

A Poké Ball is one entry into the monthly draw. There are two ways to get them: a membership, which credits them every month, or a one-off pack. A Rookie account, the free tier, has none and is not entered in any draw, but can use the collection and price tools.

You can hold one membership at a time. Poké Balls have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

Entering a draw

There are two kinds of draw, and they are entered differently.

The monthly draw

  1. With a membership: on the day you are billed, your Poké Balls for the month are entered into the open monthly draw for you. There is nothing to press. If no monthly draw is open that day, they stay in your balance.
  2. With a pack, or with Poké Balls left in your balance: open Giveaways, press Enter (or Top up entries) on the draw, choose how many Poké Balls to use and confirm.
  3. Each Poké Ball you use is one entry. Your entry count for each draw is shown on the Giveaways page.

Daily and flash draws

  1. Ace and Champion members are entered automatically the moment one of these draws opens.
  2. They cannot be entered with Poké Balls, and there is no Enter button on them.

Before your first entry

  1. You must be 18 or over, and we need your date of birth and state on file. If they are missing, the Giveaways page asks for them and takes you to your Account page.
  2. Residents of South Australia cannot enter or win.
  3. Entry always requires a paid membership or a pack. There is no free entry route.

If you win

  1. We email the address on your account and put a notice in your dashboard, within 7 days of the draw.
  2. The result is published on the Winners page within the same 7 days.
  3. Open your Account page to give us your delivery details. We may ask for proof of identity and age before we send a prize.
  4. A prize that is still unclaimed three months after the draw is redrawn, so keep your email address up to date.

Changing or cancelling a membership

  1. Open your Account page and press Manage billing.
  2. From there you can switch plan, update your card or cancel.
  3. If you cancel, you keep the Poké Balls already credited and any entries already made still run. You stop receiving new Poké Balls when the paid period ends.

The fine print

This guide is a summary. The rules that actually govern the draws are the Competition Terms, and your membership is governed by the Terms of Service. If this page and those documents ever disagree, the documents win.
